There are many types of lining materials for slurry pumps, such as high-chromium cast iron, high-chromium white cast iron and wear-resistant rubber. Faced with the choice of many materials, it is necessary to make a reasonable choice according to the type of ore. Only in this way can the utilization rate of the pump be improved. For example, the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of wear-resistant rubber materials are better than those of metal materials. It has great elasticity. But it is only suitable for conveying fine-grained slurry without edges and corners.
4. Install the slurry pump scientifically and reasonably
When installing the slurry pump, the pipeline should be as straight and short as possible. The outlet pipe can be installed under lying, inclined, etc. to reduce loss. The diameter of the pipeline has a great influence on the loss head. From the perspective of energy saving, the diameter of the water delivery pipe should be one level larger than the diameter of the slurry inlet. The water suction pipeline should be well sealed, and the water inlet should meet the relevant regulations for the bottom, wall and submersion depth of the pool.
5. Inspection and adjustment of the old pumping station
For the pump station that has been built, if the head is seriously unmatched, the slurry pump should be replaced as soon as possible, or at least measures such as speed reduction, angle adjustment or cutting the impeller should be taken to reduce the head to the actual required value. The rated head of the slurry pump is required to be equal to the sum of the terrain head and loss head of the pumping station.
In practical application, not only need to pay attention to the above points, but also consider the structural design of the whole process. Reasonable design and advanced equipment can achieve the purpose of energy saving and consumption reduction.
